"When Emma was diagnosed with a dislocated hip it was history repeating itself... I was born with bilateral hip dysplasia. At the time, my grandmother had to sew me special pants to fit over my brace. That was 35 years ago. After becoming so frustrated with the lack of cute clothing options for Emma, I decided to change that...

 

When you have a baby with hip dysplasia the range of emotions you go through are endless. A new challenge seems to pop up every day- from car seats to bathing to finding clothing that actually FITS, versus buying up three sizes and rolling up sleeves and pant legs.

The original mission of BabyHipWear was to provide hip dysplasia moms with clothing options. When other moms saw the clothes in their all their comfy glory, we realized these clothes are perfect for any 'hip' baby!
